When I do this, and play the 1 (C0) key on the keyboard, the bongo plays. Knowing this I went into the new drum map and configured the first line in the settings like this: When I first insert EZDrummer and I play the middle C key (C5), it plays the left hand bongo in the percussion kit. I tried building one from scratch and got to the point where I have a new drum map created. It would appear the creating a drum map is the way to do this but I don't think I'm getting the concept of drum maps completely. I'd prefer to have some of my most commonly used instruments grouped together on the keyboard to make finding the specific instruments on the keyboard and playing percussion parts a bit easier. The thing is, the location of the percussion instruments on the keyboard aren't in any logical order. ![]() To access them all with my Axiom 49 midi controller, I have to use the transpose buttons since many of the sounds extend past the 49 keys available on my controller. This kit has a quite a large number of instruments and sounds it can play. I am most interested in using the Latin Percussion kit I have in EZDrummer. You can play/record them using a midi keyboard to play the parts. You can build them in the piano roll viewĢ. I see there are couple of ways to create drum patterns.ġ. I’m trying to wrap my arms around programming drum parts using EZDrummer and Sonar. ![]() EZDrummer and drum maps is there an easy way?
